An active geothermal area located just north of the Reporoa caldera, Wai-o-Tapu Thermal Wonderland is a scenic area featuring sinter terrace formations, huge volcanic craters, expansive vistas, steaming ground, bubbling mud, hot springs and the Champagne Pool.
