The BBC Television Centre was opened on the 29th of June 1960, and is the oldest television studio in England after Granada Studios. Located at White City in West London, the BBC Television Centre is one of the most easily recognisable buildings in London. The main building, affectionately titled the “doughnut”, is a circular structure with offices, engineering areas and studios surrounding it.
