One of the most developed cities in Oman, Sohar was once a traditional fishing town that has now been transformed into an industrial port. One of the fascinating attractions one will find here is the Sohar Fort Museum where one can view such features as facilities that were used by those who were imprisoned here, ancient exhibits relating to trade and archaeological evidence.
