With a vast majority of its coastlines bordering the Arabian Sea, Oman is a haven for sea turtles. Five major species of turtles feed off the coast of Oman, these include the hawksbill turtle, the green turtle, the loggerhead turtle, the leatherback turtle and the olive ridley turtle. All the above species of turtle are considered critically endangered and are the subjects of intense conservation
