The Rotorua R.S.A. Museum was established with the intention of commemorating the bravery and sacrifices made by New Zealand servicemen and women during wartime. Having had its inception in 1968 the institution has over the years developed to become a fully fledged military museum, the sole such institution within New Zealand.
